A Journey or a Trek: Navigating Grief promises to be two days of information designed to help the bereaved reflect on their own personal journey of healing, how to cope personally as well as how you might be a supportive friend or family member. Many bereaved individuals identify they feel very alone and state that no one understands or knows how to be supportive. Significant struggles also arise around the question of meaning and purpose. During this session we will explore:
what is normal grief about?
am I going crazy?
questions of meaning and purpose
what to expect
helping yourself heal – strategies for coping
how to navigate the rough road grief brings
helpful tips on providing support to others
Throughout this two day workshop we will use talk and creativity exercises to help participants receive more insight into their own unique grief trek.
